B&W ANVIL- 120kg steel anvil casted from 6150 steel blacksmithing anvil
120KG B&W ANVIL
All of the B&W anvils are cast from 6150 steel. 6150 steel is an incredibly tough and durable metal. We harden them to HRC 58-62. B&W anvils go through a unique hardening process that ends with the entire tool hardened to our specs, not just the surface. This gives the anvil a hard workable surface all the way from the tip to the tail, as well as the shelf and side upsetting block.
NOTE:
6150 is a high-grade spring steel, which is especially used to make springs with large cross-sections and high loads, valve springs, piston springs with working temperatures below 300, safety valve springs, and other industrial purposes. this material most futures is good tough and durable which should be the anvils' own.
